FLOORING WARRANTY
Please read over the entire instructions
before proceeding with actual installation. If you do not accept the terms and conditions of the warranty, please do not install
Kena Inc. brand name flooring. The sole obligation of this warranty, at Kena Inc.’s discretion, is to repair, refinish,
replace or refund of defective products only. Labor costs are not covered under
this warranty.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Kena Inc.'s products include engineered floor, bamboo floors and solid floors,
in their original manufactured state, to be free from defects in assembly, milling, grading and finishing for its lifetime.
Kena Inc. further warrants that our product will not buckle, cup or wrap when
properly applied and maintained in accordance with Kena Inc.’s installation
and maintenance instructions.
Moisture content: All installations
over concrete the sub-floor should be tested for moisture using the Calcium Chloride Test Method and flooring
should not be installed if vapor pressure exceeds 3 lbs. per 1000sq. ft. in 24 hours.The moisture content of the wood sub-floor
at the time of installation should be in the range of 6 to 10 percent.
Limited Twenty- five Years Finish Wear Layer Warranty
Kena Inc. ‘s warranties
to the original purchaser, that its surface wear layer will not wear through or separate from the Hardwood for
a full Twenty-five years, from the date of purchase.
Kena Inc.’s
warranties exclude indentations, scratches or damages caused by negligence, water, erosion, insects, spiked heel shoes, pebbles,
sand, other abrasives or insufficient protection on furniture; damage caused by failure to follow all the manufacturer’s
specific written installation instructions, improper maintenance, insufficient protection, misuse or improper alterations
of the original manufactured product, or commercial use. No warranties apply
to any product sold “AS-IS”. The warranties do not cover damages caused by natural weather conditions such as
rainfall, tornadoes, flood, erosion, landslide, hurricanes, earthquake and other natural disasters.
This writing is the complete and exclusive statement of the warranty, and is in lieu of all other
express, implied and/or statutory warranties. Kena Inc. assumes no liability
for incidental or consequential damages. The sole remedy provided herein is the
repair, refinish or replacement of defective products, or refund for defective products. The selection of the remedy will
be at the discretion of Kena Inc.
Any claims for warranty filed must be made in writing within the warranty
coverage period. The original purchase receipt as well as the written job site pre-installation documentation
must accompany claims. Claims for warranty can be filed first with the Kena Inc. authorized retailer where the original purchase
was made within 30 days after any defected.
