               About Bamboo and Bamboo Flooring

Bamboo is a treelike woody grass, Bamboo has been   cultivated for more than 4,000 years in China. It has been used in everyday life in Asia for centuries.

There are more than 1,200 species of bamboo in the world, but the coloring, feature and tensile, strength varies greatly. The Mao bamboo ( Phyllostachys Pubescence ) is the best quality in bamboo family. Its fine grain and durability are particularly suitable for the production of bamboo flooring.

Mao Bamboo is grown in the Fujian and Zhejiang provinces of South China. It is a tall and straight species and is perfect for many different applications. Mao bamboo is best harvested at four or five years of age.

Our products are made with all-natural, high-quality bamboo processed with modern technology, but retaining the original advantages of bamboo--its water resistance, insect resistance, fire resistance, and its bright, clean, and beautiful appearance.

Bamboo strips are soaked, bleached and bonded with the highest quality polyurethane resins, with additional time and attention spent on preventing insect and mildew damage.

The Horizontal Cut, the bamboo strips have been layered horizontally and professionally compressed to ensure quality bonding of the bamboo strips. This cut comes in two colors, Natural  and Carbonized .

VERTICAL CARBONIZED

The Vertical Cut is distinguished by the "side-pressed" layering of the bamboo strips. This creates a more dense appearance. This cut is also available in natural and carbonized finishes.
